The Truth comes out!

A man came home from work and found his children playing outside still in their pajamas, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn around the front yard.

The door to his wife's car was open as was the front door of the house and there was no sign of their dog.

Walking into the house he found an even bigger mess.  The lamp was knocked over, the throw rug was wadded against a wall and the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon with the family room a complete mess of toys and clothes. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, food was spilled all over the counter and the fridge door was wide open.  Dog food had spilled on the floor and a broken glass was lying under the table. 

Heading upstairs he stepped over more piles of clothes and was met with a small trickle of water coming out of the bathroom door.  Peering inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and even more toys strewn across the floor.  Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste was smeared on the mirror and the walls.

As he rushed into the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in bend in her pajama's reading a book.  Looking up at him, she smiled and innocently asked how his day went.  Bewildered, he looked at her and asked,

"What happened here today?"

She smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world I do all day?"

"Yes," was his incredulous reply.

She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it!"
