Weight loss journey
I've been talking a lot about getting healthy and fit over the course of the past few months and I'm happy to report that I'm finally starting to see some progress which is exceptionally motivating to me!
Some changes I've made are probably fairly obvious to you - change the quantity that I eat & up the exercise - but for some reason I always thought that I ate healthy already and there was nothing I could do.
However over the past 2 months or so I've managed to lose over 10lbs & am at a weight I've not been at since high school! While that by itself is inspirational (to me) the fact that I've not done it through crash diets but rather a more healthy and sustained mix of eating better and exercising more just makes sense to me.
Every day is a bit of a struggle with the scale I must admit as the slightest deviation can add a couple of pounds which is really frustrating, but at the same time I know I'm not starving myself and am actually building muscle (and trimming my waistline too!). I will be honest that I was stuck at 179lbs for a couple of days and it seemed like I'd stalled but I managed to persevere and it feels like I have gotten over that hump.
I started at 189lbs & am currently at 178lbs - I managed to hit 177 for a brief period a couple of days ago, but went up a bit. I hope however by this time next week to be somewhat closer to the beach body we all aspire too and while I know I'm a long way away from that much coveted 6 pack, I now believe that it is actually achievable which is a huge step in the right direction!
